Taking into account the emergency of a poetic voice that investigates life and death, intertwining self writing to a reflection on language, this article intends to make remarks on Viviane Nogueiràs Grumixamas e jaboticabas. Toe goal is to examine how a web of esteem between the self in the poem and the plurality of terrestrial life is constituted, focusing on a clash with Brazil's colonial past that elevates said enunciating voice to a thought on collectivity. Toe theoretical framework of this study will be Coming to writing, by Hélene Cixous; For more than one voice: toward a philosophy of vocal expression, by Adriana Cavarero; and "My words will be there': by Audre Lorde. Our goal is to demonstrate how the practice of writing about oneself intertwines with speculation surrounding the process of poetic composition.
