Hugo Mayo, and his poetry, destroyed the homogeneous knowledge imposed on modernity. Mayo demolishes the binary concepts of drugs, salutes, progress and language. Its purpose is to resist the hegemonic knowledge that imposes a unique western canon of knowledge and aesthetics. Its idea of complementarity allows us to have an approach to a language in the crisis product of a world that in the name of development consolidates inequality.
