The (Her)ethical Word and the Sacrificial Tradition in Herberto Helder

It is about thinking ethics in the work of Herberto Helder, according to the possibility of re-signification of the conditioning terms of the common and the singular in contemporary times through the religious aspects of his work, with emphasis on an idea of sacrificial writing. As it appears throughout his creative work, sacrifice keeps close relations with religious traditions (the idea of participation in a community feeling), operating, against the expectations of religious moral propositions, a singularization that does not fail to reverberate in the codes that subvert them, hence the ethical outline that I propose as a reading key.
