This study has as its starting point the reading and analysis of the poems “Poetic Art III” by Sophia de Mello Breyner and “Apple” by Manuel Bandeira, seeking to study, in a comparative perspective, how the two poems highlight a vision of poetic making and propose an intensified perception towards the minimum that starts from a revitalization of the poetic gaze. Special emphasis is given to the concepts of attention and perception as ways to unravel the poetry of things, an expression so vital and reflective of the poetic creation of Manuel Bandeira that allows us to get closer to the poetics of these two authors.
