The objective of this paper is to investigate the similarities in some of the practices of the poet Carlito Azevedo and others, of the filmmaker Jean-Luc Godard. Taking as a guideline the studies of intertextuality and citacionality undertaken by theorists such as Antoine Compagnon, we draw three brief profiles, implicated in the operations of the chosen authors and tried to relate one of Azevedo’s book to one of Godard’s films, trying to infer a reading that approximates the assembly of a book to that of a film.
