20th century’ Brazilian poetry, Hilda Hilst, Vinicius de Moraes, Cinco Elegias.Abstract
Hilda Hilst’ lyric has been the subject of numerous studies that have noted her interlocution with other authors, especially with regard to classical and medieval poetics. However, it is still necessary to verify those that the author established with Brazilian poets who were contemporary with her. About this, the intertextual movements that she presents with some poems by Vinicius de Moraes are more noticeable. This work propose more specifically to analyze how Hilst’s Cinco elegias dialogues with the homonymy poem by Vinicius de Moraes, in order to better understand the ways this re-reading contributes to a process of authorial affirmation in Hilst.
