This article aims to highlight the importance of the correspondence between the French translator and exegete Armand Guibert and Pierre Hourcade on the long process relating to the first editions of Fernando Pessoa’s poetry in France and on his unquestionable contribution to the international recognition of the poetry of the poet of Mensagem.
